Fixing Thin Shopify Product Descriptions at Scale, Without Losing Control

A vast field of small product tiles receding into the distance, about half lit and half empty, streaming along curved paths that converge into a single glowing portal.

Most commerce catalogs are full of missing descriptions, duplicate SEO titles, untagged products, and images with no alt text. Writing all of that by hand across thousands of SKUs is the kind of work that never actually gets done — it sits on a backlog behind everything more urgent, indefinitely.

A dense wall of small product tiles filling the frame in even rows, roughly half solid and lit, the rest hollow outlines set slightly back in shadow.
A real catalog: some records complete, most of them not.

What CortexGuard actually does

CortexGuard is a Shopify app that drafts the first pass across your whole catalog, in your brand voice:

  • AI product descriptions — clear, on-brand copy generated from your existing product data, for one product or your whole catalog at once
  • SEO titles & meta descriptions — unique per product, so each page stands on its own in search
  • Smart tagging — consistent, structured tags for better on-site filtering and discovery
  • Vision AI alt text — written from what's actually in your product photos, not guessed from the title
  • Collection enrichment — the same treatment for collection pages, often a store's highest-traffic pages and usually its emptiest
A conveyor running left to right that splits at a glowing junction: the upper lane carries cards filled with stacked bars, the lower lane carries small padlocked blocks, dimmer and untouched.
Descriptive content goes one way. Price, SKU and inventory go the other.

What it won't touch

Structured fields — SKU, barcode, price, inventory — are never altered by the AI. Enrichment only touches descriptive content: descriptions, SEO fields, alt text, and tags. You can also exclude specific products, vendors, tags, or collections entirely, and ban words or phrases outright, with an impact preview before any rule takes effect.

A stack of floating draft cards seen at an angle, the top three lifted away and glowing as they pass through an open gateway frame while the rest wait behind in shadow.
Before and after, with your approval in between.

Nothing publishes without you

Every AI draft lands in a review inbox — approve, edit, or reject, one by one or in bulk. Nothing reaches your live storefront until you say so. If you want it hands-off, optional daily automation will enrich new and updated items and auto-publish only drafts above a confidence threshold you set, under a per-run credit cap you set — off by default, opt-in when you're ready.
